Common questions.

The uncomfortable ones first.

What if you don't hit the goal?

Whatever we raise, we spend on the most critical items first — starting with audit scoping. We'll publish the partial audit even if full coverage isn't funded. Every dollar is tied to a line item; nothing is kept as "founder compensation."

Why not just raise a seed round?

Investors want returns. Returns require either a token, fees, or vendor lock-in. All three would compromise the goal of neutral, open payment infrastructure — which is the entire reason this project exists. Donations keep the protocol free.

Where is the money held until it's spent?

A dedicated Solana wallet on mainnet. The address is public and all transactions are verifiable on-chain via any block explorer.

Can I get my money back?

No — donations are non-refundable, the same as any open-source grant. If you need a recovery clause, contact us before sending; we can discuss a custom arrangement for Partner-tier contributions.

Will there ever be a token?

No. The project charter explicitly forbids issuing a governance or utility token. We believe tokens and neutral payment infrastructure are incompatible.

What happens after the audit?

Findings are remediated. The report is published in full. Programs deploy to mainnet under a time-locked upgrade authority. A bug bounty program opens on Immunefi. Then we start on Phase 6 — production scale.
